Similarly Newcastle United FC have for some time now performed at the highest level and have produced some footballing legends. But more recently the Newcastle Falcons have made their mark on the North Eastern map. They have a ‘star-studded’ line-up, and a ground to match and it is for this reason we are proud to have been associated with Newcastle Falcons sponsoring Jamie Noon from 2001. The Rugby Premiership has brought high profile and clubs such as the Falcons have provided the talent and expertise for the England’s magnificent achievement in winning the Rugby World Cup in Australia. Our associated company Iain Nicholson Investment Management Limited, which is authorised and regulated by The Financial Services Authority, has embraced the cultural side of the region in sponsoring the Last Night of the North East Proms, for the last few years, which has featured stars such as Sir Thomas Allen and Suzanne Manuell. Even though Newcastle lost the bid for European Capital of Culture the buzz and momentum of the region will lead to a prosperous future.
